ALL THE INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW TO FIX YOUR POOL

We will need the pool filled to the normal operating level, clean, clear, and no cover. It cannot be green, brown, filthy, full of debris, excessively cloudy, or partially empty.
If there is an issue with filling or cleaning the pool let us know. We will do a visual inspection and scan the pool with an electronic leak detector that is very sensitive- it will find a pinhole.
We will find and patch all holes within reason- 50 or more holes or excessive damage and you may need a new liner.

Midwest Diving warranties swimming pool repairs.  We give a 7 day warranty that the leak has been repaired if your pool is in good condition.
If the pool is still leaking in the first 7 days after our visit we will return at no cost one additional visit.
We cannot warranty or guarantee pools that have more than 50 holes, excessive damage, or old/brittle liners. We do not warranty ponds or lakes. 
IMPORTANT WARRANTY INSTRUCTIONS: No vacuum / dauphin / robot / cleaner / scrubbing for 7 days. We are not responsible for new holes. 
No excessive use for 7 days (children's pool party, pets, frat party). Avoid areas of repair for 7 days. Do not take your pool stairs in or out for 7 days.

Please let us know if your pool is custom, large, irregular, or unusual. Dive rates are for normal sized residential swimming pools. Commercial and large pools are an additional cost.

 Indoor heated pools are $375 year round. 

There is a service call fee of $150 if we are unable to dive and repair the pool because it is dirty, green, cloudy, empty, dangerous site conditions, or no site access.

There is a $150 emergency response fee for service within 24 hrs or less if divers are available.

 

 

TIPS FOR PREVENTING HOLES 

Always keep a mat or pad between the feet or bottom of your steps and the pool vinyl. Steps rub back and forth as people use them. They WILL make holes over time. 

Always check your vacuum / dauphin / robot / scrubbers / cleaning brush for debris and defects before placing in pool. These go all around your pool and a defect can cause lots of holes. 

Remove personal jewelry and accessories with sharp edges or metal. Diamond rings and earring backs will cut through vinyl easily. 

Never use flex seal or waterproof tape on your vinyl pool. The adhesive acts like a solvent and breaks down vinyl over time. 

Never use heavy objects like blocks, bricks, or pavers to hold a cover over a pool. They can fall in and cause serious damage. 
Use plastic containers filled with water such as 5 gallon buckets that will dump out if overturned instead. 

Eradicate pests such as moles, grubs, and groundhogs that come up through the ground and can dig or eat through your pool. 

You can also use a barrier such as a "RhinoShield" under your pool to prevent critters from coming through the vinyl.
